Charcoal & Parasite Treatments

How long do I need to keep charcoal out of the filter after I apply a dose?

Keep it out until the treatment is finished. What treatment are you using?

I'm using tank buddies parasite clear. Do I understand correctly that I should leave it out until the entire course, i.e. 3 tablets over 6 days, is completed? Thanks for the advice.
