I'm thinking of changing the layout of my community tank but obviously it's full of fish so any changes would have to be gradual so I was just wandering how often you change your layout. :sly:

I've gone for monthly, although it's more like quarterly - can you add that option in?

Not that it matters cos I can't vote again!
:D

When I get tired of it. :p Depends on the tank, but mostly when I do my large end of the month clean up and water change. So montly. Though if it's planted, I hardly ever change it. For example, my Smaragdina tank has been the same way for 3 years.

Whenever I get bored of it, so monthly ;)

Well, I take everything out (That's removable) and clean it, then put it back in. The fish look a little disoriented for about 5 minutes, but then they go back to being their happy little selves. Most tanks have at least one piece of wood or rock that has a live plant on, that doesn't get removed, so they have some shelter and something that is similar. Never noticed a big difference in them, and believe me, I watch them.

Also, I'll occasionally reach into the tank and move something around just spur of the moment. I've gotten many looks for that. Such as when my family was over, and I get up, reach in the tank, and move around a piece of wood. They were just like

 I can imagine that you would be like "hey guys, how do you like my tank?" then as they are commenting on how :cough: bad :cough: just joking, good you would be thinking of something you should change then just reach in their and move it and they would be like :look: "why is she changing something in the tank for?" God that would be funny.

I voted never but occasionly if when vacuming I knock a plant out I may move it somewhere else or when my pleco weekly knocks plants out of the gravel I may move it but I rarley do that.
