I realized I should've added sand first instead of gravel, but at first, I wasnt sure if I wanted salt or fresh, so I had put gravel.

Now I want to put live sand. I dont have any fish in the tank, just whats listed in my siggy.

Is it safe to remove the gravel (or most of it at least) and add live sand in? Just alittle at a time?

Hmm.. I wont say i told you so but...... ;) :D

Remove it and replace with livesand. At the moment you have no fish so its not heavy on the bioload

yea yea yea, you told me so after I made that mistake :look:

ok, gravel gone, sand in now. I left bits of gravel there for texture.

I accidentally scooped up my crab in the process. If it hadnt crawled out of the bucket of gravel, he'd be dead! loks ok now.. oops.

All inverts are accounted for and doing well.

Next step, get my flame scallop!
