I've had my 260ltr set up since march. all is going well but I have Eleocharis parvulus in the foreground of my tank which is a lovely short grass type plant. It has green hair algea growing on it and I've been trying to remove it each week with my twissers but I seem to be making more of a mess than clearing up. would it be best if I remove it all completly and re-do it? All the other plants are doing really well with very little algea growth on them.

thanks Jo

Cut it right back to the substrate. It should bounce back and, provided you take steps to prevent the algae recurring, it should look great.
