Changing Kh With Crushed Coral

i'm going to experiment with using crushed coral in my 20g to raise the kh.

the tank's current kh is 2, gh is 3, and ph is 6.9. i want to raise the kh from 2 to 5.

how much crushed coral would i have to use to do that?

The number of variables in this are almost too numerous to count. Temperature, what else is dissolved in the water, flow rate, how dissolvable the coral is, and many more. It's probably better to do a trial amount - observe what happened - change the amount - observe that and repeat method, because I don't think that a very accurate guess about how much you will need is possible.

I'd just be sure to start with small amounts and build up rather than putting too much in and having to do extra water changes to dilute it back out.
