Hi

I'm looking to change my gravel in the tank and i was wondering what is the best way to change it with fish in the tank with out stressing them out.

when majorly disturbing the substrate you can release all sorts (toxins) into the water, turning it into 'minestroni soup' Really not good to have fish in there at that time

I would suggest removal and storage as suggested by others :good:
It may be a good idea to do a couple of good (deep) vac's just before so that not so much is relased when taking out gravel :good:

I was told to take gravel out slowly eg. a little bit every day over a period of 7 days.

Haven't heard of anyone doing that before...

Cheers...
