Can any one help I want to change my marine tank to a tropical. Can any one tell me if this possible and how difficalt it may be. t hank you in advance

it's easy to do and depends on what sort of tropical tank you want. If yuo want a rift lake cichlid tank you can keep the base rock and shell or sand substrate. These can be used for the rift lake cichlids.
If you wantt angelfish or neons then change the substrate to normal gravel or sand and add some rocks and driftwood. You want rocks that don't affect the PH so you should take the live rock/ base rock out and replace that with stuff like granite and driftwood.
You can use the same lights for freshwater tanks. If you don't want many plants then reduce the amount of light or the time that the lights are on for.
If you have a trickle filter or sump then that can act as a filter for the freshwater tank. If you don't have a filter then get an external power filter or a trickle filter.
Once the tank is set up with gravel/ sand and rocks/ wood, fill it with fresh water and plants and then either do a fishless cycle or a fish in cycle.

yup it really depends what your set up is now and what you want from the community tank, if you can give us some more info we can advise you what you can keep and any new purchases you may need to make. other than that it's basically a case of cleaning it all out thoroughly, setting up as you would normally for a tropical tank, cycling the tank and away you go!
