Chances Of Spawning?

ive just purchased a trio of pearl gouramis male and two female, ive also put 4-5 water lettuce in my tank to provide some shade for the gourami, will this increase the chance of them spawning?

Depending upon the rest of the conditions. Not much current is important too, as are temperature, and other inhabitants.
