So, do the chances of an angel pairing off decrease with age (or even size)? I have a charcoal that I got earlier this year. It lives in a 20 tall right now, but I wanted to upgrade to a 47 and get some more angels. I can afford the tank right now, but not the fancy lights I want for it, so that’s holding me back at the moment. And I want it have it completely set up before I go ahead with the fish (the plan is to get the tank and plant it up super nice with fancy lights so I can have the plants I've always wanted). However… I was waiting until I got the tank to get more angels (some for it to pick from and then some more to keep). But now I’m wondering if I’m waiting too long to get more angels for it to find a partner. Especially with this one growing like a freakin’ weed. It's huge compared to when I got it, I'd say... almost full grown. I can't believe how fast it's grown.
