I think that instead of blue gudgeon dartfish, I might get a group of chalk basses for the 75G. Thinking maybe 5 or 6. I know plenty of people who have these guys as individuals, but does anyone know of their behavior in groups?

I have read in an article that they do well in groups, but I can't remember the specifics. I will look for the article for you. :)

+1 they are great fish imo if i could id have a school of 6 lol

I have 5 in my tank and I think that they are great to watch. They don`t always swim together but normally 2-3 do most of the times. They seem to like their own space from time to time and all have seperate parts of the tank that they settle into at night when the lights go off.

I have not seen any aggression to their tank mates which is what put me off Damsels.

They were about 4cm - 6cm when I bought them about 10 months ago but now they are 8cm to 12cm now.

They seem to like to have lots of hiding places where they settle at night but they are quite active uring the day.
