Is the body real sivery and metallic like polished metal scales? Are the fins anywhere between yellow, orange, to the red of the Pink-tail. Does it do well in the Soft water with say, oh, Angelfish (Cichlids like Oscars and Jacks even the the little guys as far as Jacks go will beat him up pretty good, in fact real good, especially if buy itself.) And of course anything for any real length of time less than a shoal of six if being in a community of others like it is doing at your own peril, or each one till there's one left, or what's left of one left, unless you strike it lucky any find an opposite sexed mate for it, as there is no actual known morphing or breeding habits of the animal, they say it is probably similar to the Pink-tail however. I have one and have been looking for the right amount of shoal mates for it since I've had it, as I said the Oscars and others beat em up, but he does very well with the small Black Oscars or Tigers, Angels, Veiled Angels, even the other extreme my Blue Channel Catfish that is usually very brutal to what ever is in there with it, as it gets up to 6 feet long and built like the Hulk (in captivity, quite possibly the largest Catfish there is, maybe the Electric Cat), at least for the time

I also beleive that when in shoal they are more preditory, and tank mates will need to be chosen more carefully!
Can you put me together with someone who has them? I am looking for a minimum of 12 Calceus erythururus ( 6 juvenile and 6 grown that someone has had for a while to have some determination as to who's who in the shoals)
All The Best!

The Cichlids should be 3-4 inches and vibrant, the Characins should be 6-8 inches an communal with one another, the Cats and Bullheads should be 6 to 8 inches long and vibrant particularly all barbels in tact. Leopard Plecos, and of course rare Cats and Plecos (within which I believe one of those is a Hardhead Catfish that frequents both salt and freshwater, I do have the exact name in record at another location at the moment). Some in different sizes based on their proper individual environments (some for breeding, some to perhaps grow into it).
If you can obtain, or direct me, or put me in contact with someone or a group with capabilities that you know personally and has had reputable specimens?
