I've had Chai for 2 months now, and he's never eaten any flakes or food I've put in the tank.
We bought some frozen blood worms earlier, and I just defrosted some and put them into the tank. The endlers and platy loved them, but Chai swam up to take a look, stared at them for a bit, and then swam away again.
He must be eating something, and my mum says she's seen him poo, but I'd really like to get him on a staple diet of something other than snail eggs

Any ideas what I could try putting in to get him to eat? He likes to hunt, so I did look for live food, but none of my LFS' have them in at the moment. What else could I try in the mean time?

Thank you! :)

maybe try putting the bloodworm into the filter current so it moves, makeing it look alive? He must be eating something

That's what I thought, but his fin rot isn't getting any better.
I really want to do a water change, but my mum is saying that if I do it'll effect the course of Myxazin I'm doing to try and help him. I can't even test for ammonia seeing as my test kit is out of date -.-'

That was a little off topic
I've just dropped in a piece of cucumber in, but none of the fish are taking any notice of it, so I might put it upstairs instead.
I'll try putting in some more bloodworms tomorrow and I'll drop them straight into the current. We'll see how he reacts then :D

the Myxazin shoud do the trick, it did with mine :good:

If there is ammonia in the tank, would that cancel out what the myxazin is trying to do?
None of the fish are out of character or gasping or anything, but I just suspect that something is stopping it from working.
How long does it usually take to see improvement?
