Planning to have a fish that stands out with some neons maybe

First of all, I would suggest posting your water quality here, (pH, kH, gH) so we can get a better idea of which fish would be most suitable for your aquarium. But you should be ok, since there are plenty of good centerpiece fish for a tank like that. Apistogramma Agasizzii/Macmasteri/Cacatuoides etc. Mikrogeophagus Ramirezi. Dwarf/Honey Gouramis. If you aquascape the tank really nicely, sometimes Neon or Cardinal Tetras can be enough of a centerpiece as is. Could also do Kribensis, although not with Neons, granted. If your water is harder, you have livebearers which can be nice, Mollies, Platys etc. There are also shell-dwelling cichlids that can be a very interesting addition to a harder, more alkaline aquarium. Let us know, people here generally enjoy helping with stocking.
