Centerpiece Fish

what are the tank dimensions?
other fish in tank?
any group in particular e.g. cichlids?
pH?

rams?
some kind of small catfish?

there load's of choices the questions i asked will narrow it down.

:good:

Tank size = 32x12x17
I am selling my current setup to a relative who may want some fish as well so i am unsure of the stocking of the new tank. Probably
4 black widows
4 black neons
2 platys
to start with.
I would like to add another small school (6) of small fish i.e neon tetras or Harlequin Rasoboras or maybe cardinal tetras.
Not looking at particular groups.
I have though about just 1 male ram on his own but am unsure.? would this work?
:)

i'd go with

6 black widows
6 black neons
6 harlequins
2 rams (1m/1f)

personally.

:good:

Would the rams become aggressive during spawning?
Another member suggested 1 male ram - would this work or would they be happier in a m/f pair?

Thanks jayjay :) I'm going to go with
6 black widows
6 black neons
6 harlequins
2 rams (1m/1f)
Could i fit a couple of platys in there as well?
Last question - do Harlequins shoal a lot?

you probably could get 2 platies in there aswel, get the same sex though or you maybe over run with fry.

harlequins do shoal aswel.

:good:

If you go for standard platies i'd go for 3 females, either that or 1male and 3females.

The Plan:
6 black widow tetras
6 black neon tetras
6 harlequins
3 female platys
m/f pair of bolivian rams.
But depending on which fish my cousin would like this could change slighly.
Anyway i'll see how things go thanks for your help guys :good:
