i have separated a trio of these from my main tank and put them in an unheated tank near a window half full with java moss and a bubble filter hoping they will drop some eggs. in a few days i will put them back in the main tank and wait and see if any babys emerge. temp is 18 - 22 doing 10% water changes daily. any one else bred these? any hints tips?

I don't have any tips of hints, but we accidentally bred them in their sales tank at the shop. It was a ten gallon planted tank and we had 10-12 or so that we fed New Life Spectrum exclusively. We only had a couple babies live and make it, but I think that is pretty good for an accidental breeding.

from what ive read theyr fairly easy to breed. just stopping the parents eating the fry is important in raising numbers i think
