Celebes Rainbows

My celebes rainbos have a real problem with eachother at the mo. Both have their fins stuck out and are circling like crazy. They've always been very peacefull before. We did have a 3rd but it died a few weeks back.
How can i tell if ive got 2 males or a male and female?

Usually you can tell the sex of the rainbow by the length of their fin, but I am not exactly sure if it will work for your species. When my rainbows have their fins "stuck out", it means that they are about to breed.

ooo that might be it, they could be showing off to eachother. As long as they're not gunna rip eachother's heads off its all good!
