Has anyone ever had and maintained cave mollies?

Poecilia mexicana for the cave mollies which survive acidic waters and high levels of sulphur dioxide in the 2 caves they exist in but a normal form exists just outside the caves in normal atmosphere.

Then although not a cave Molly there is Poecilia sulpuriana which I'd also be interested in with exists in streams coming from hot springs with high sulphur dioxide content.

I'm keeping Poecilia mexicana, Poecilia cuneata, Poecilia salvatoris, Poecilia caucana and Poecilia, Poecilia vandepolli and I had Poecilia formosa.

It's still discussable wether the P.cuneata is the same as P.mexicana. But mine were caught in Colombia and not in Mexico. And the the bodyshape of the P.cuneata is different from P.mexicana.

Yes, although not blind they use lateral line sensors to find food and mates, also have adaptions to acidic waters in their bone structures and very high tolerances for high sulphur dioxide and low oxygen.

The same thing with the blind cave fish. Also they use the lateral line way more than fish in open waters.

I'm in Holland. There are multiple livebearers of mine that have moved to the UK the past few years. But most were picked up at a vivaristic event. I brought them along for them. Those people made reservations on those livebearers. I do focus on both fancy and wild livebearer species.
Most tried to get their hands on the rare ones before brexit became a fact.

Brexit must be the stupidest act of self harm a government has ever inflicted on its people. Hopefully we will one day return as the prodical son and be welcomed back into our European family where we belong.

A lot of people will agree with this...

Those from the UK who came to me to pick up those fish, were really scared that when the brexit would become a fact, that getting fish from outside the UK would be problematic and more expensive.

Quality and availability of fish has definitely gone down. Plants really difficult.

The Asian fish farms mustn't be able to cope with demand.
