Cat Pierced Seal On Tank And Water Trickling Out!

Our big fat useless lump of a cat has a pierced the rubber seal about halfway down, and the water is is coming out slowly thankfully just in drops but it has gone down about 1cm in about 6 hours.

What is the best stuff to patch up the hole

And the missus says he is not doing any harm he is just watching them pah!

Can you drop the water level just under the hole? If so then maybe you can dry the area on the inside and reseal it with some aquarium safe sealant.
Thats just a guess though so see what others think.
