Cat Fish

Ok so ive got an ID shark, uhh i know hes gonna get to big for the tank and ill have to sell him or give him away, thats if he doesnt die and i manage to cure him of his little wounds.

However i want a fish for permanent time, i thought my id would be, but yeah after learning about it i know its not, so in order to not make the same mistake and buy another fish that grows to big, i wanna ask what fish?

I have a 55g tank, want a cool catfish or shark, but one that'll be happy when it grows up in my 55.

So any reccomendations would be awsome, thanks, Igor.

once the id shark is to big for your 55 who do you think is going to buy it?my bet is you wont even be able to give it away best to try and rehome it while its small imo

Maybe A Pictus Catfish, they dont grom toooooo big maybe 12inch max plus they look amazing, with like cow spots white and black i think maybe one of those, 55 gallon still bit to small for anything big really...hmmmm keep thinking...

I talked to the manager at the LFS and he said theyd take him, just gotta call in a week before so they can make room.

Also in about a year ill be getting a new 135 gallon maybe, though i still think ID's need bigger no?
