Cat Fish

only had my 2 spotted catfish for 2 months.for the first month they were active and feeding regular but for the last month they have hid constantly and dont come out to feed.i have introduced new fish in the last month could this be why?are they ok?

There still alive arnt they, if they didnt eat theey would be dead. Lots of fish just come out at night and eat when your not watching them. As long as they are alive you can be sure they are eating very well

Introduction of the new fish probably isnt the case, do some more research on your fish and see if they are nocturnal or whatnot.

If so then it is not suprising they are hiding during the day.

Lol CFC is right. Only reason I see my striped raphael is because the pit he's built himself, and now shares with a second, pokes out near the front of the tank. He spies on everything that goes on. Like every catfish I have they seem to have a nosey streak and like to know whats going on, even if you can't see them.
