Basically my cat and house are currently flea ridden and I need to know how to treat the house without killing all my tropical fish. They are in a tank in the worst affected area and the tank has an external filter...any help is most appreciated.

whops, sorry got carried away with simply welcoming you.

Sorry about whats happend, Unfortunatly i don't eaxactly understand whats happening. Your house is flea ridden? You want to treat the house? I'm not sure if the tank needs to trated in some way. Please clarify. :D

Hello.. What are are you in? Is it getting cold? I'd say giving the animals a flea bath and some flea collars would suffice. No need to "fog" the house which would most certainly do damage to your tank... If it's getting cold outside, the fleas shouldn't be a problem for much longer.. You do have to get some protection for your indoor pets.. Once you kill them off the animals(baths) and get some collars or Frontline, the fleas wont have anywhere to feed.. Except the humans! :0 If you have to fog, I'd recommend covering the tank and putting it in the basement or somewhere sealed off from where you are "fogging".. Good Luck!
