Caster Sugar Ok For Yeast Co2?

Just wondered as I ran out of granulated and topped it up with caster sugar and it only lasted 2 days and normally lasts about 5?

think the sugar may have been used up faster because the granules are smaller, not sure though. experiment with different sugars. ive found some last longer than others - brown sugar seems to last the longest so far

If you're gonna use differnt grain sizes you'll have to use weight not volume. There will be a differing quantity fitting in the same space dependent on the grain size.

Ahh cool well I'll grab some regular sugar later as this caster sugar is taking forever to get going too.
