I know better than to use aerosol stuff but can the powder carpet fresh deodorizer be used in fish room? Does anybody have experience using the powder stuff in a room with aquariums?
Thanks

P.s. I have covers on most aquariums. The ones closest to where the carpets are in the room have great covers. I have a 20 gallon no cover but it's kinda away from everything and 2 of the big ones have gaps in the front of the cover so not entirely covered

Personally I wouldn't use it

It should be fine as long as it doesn't get in the water.

Most powders that are put in carpets actually damage the bottom of the carpet pile and cause the carpet to break down sooner. The powders act a bit like sand and rub against the fibres, cause premature wear.

The powders can also damage the internal components of vacuum cleaners.

The powder also gets blown up into the air by the vacuum...its a no from me
