I am using carolina buff clay for an aquarium ornament I am making. It has no grog and will be unvitrified. It also will not be glazed. does anyone know if this is aquarium safe. I have written the company but I have yet to get a response so I thought maybe you guys would know. Thanks in advace. BTW does anybody want some aquarium ornaments. I've gotten pretty good at making them. I just need to make sure they are safe before I actually use them.

Never heard of it, does it list the ingredient that are in it, can't you use aquarium sealant..

it's 14 inches tall and 8 inches across. That's a lot of sealant. I'll check and see if I can find ingredients though.

no luck with the ingredients search. I e-mailed the company and I'm waiting on a response. btw bump. The clay will be fired it just won't be vitrified.
