Cardinal Tetras

Should be fine.
Good luck.

If your tank is large enough, yes, they would mix well assuming that you do not have other fish in the tank that you havent posted thus far. (they are small, so nothing with a big mouth should be kept with them). They do best is groups of SIX or more and you should give them some areas that do not recieve bright lights all the time. If the tank is planted, they will swim amongst the plants, otherwise, you might think about getting some larger, more dense fake plants for them. This will help them feel more confident and they will in turn be out and about more often since they will know that shelter or hiding places are not far away at all times. All of this is also based upon the assumption that the tank is cycled and maintained well. In my experiences with keeping these fish, they are not the most hardy and can succumb to ammonia, nitrite, or even nitrate poisoning relatively quickly. They are not the most fragile fish though IMO so you will have some leeway for mistakes in keeping water parameters in check.

Brilliant thanks for info. The tank is cycled and planted to provide some shelter so i might give them a try. :)
