Cardinal Tetras Loosing Color

My Cardinals have lost the red strip under the blue strip on their body its completely dissappeared.is this normal is there a solution for this...thanks

well i don't have cardinal tetra but i have a 3 neon tetras and near night there colours fade i supose it trys to blend in.

Have you just turned the lights on in the tank.
Need more info on size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.

Ours lose the red stripe when they don't get enough light. It goes away at night, and comes back about 30 minutes after the light is back on. It also fades when they are unhappy.
