Fish Crazy
Hi,
I've noticed something strange with my Cardinal Tetras. There appears to be something within their adipose fins at the back. It caught my eye as I had a problem with Emperor Tetras developing an external nematode worm infection years ago and it looks quite similar. They were in different places all over the body and fins though, not in the same place. I googled some images of Cardinal Tetras and strangely this one popped up:
http/www.aquahobby.com/gallery/e_Cardinal_Tetra_Paracheirodon_axelrodi.php
It looks exactly like that, small white squiggles. Half of them have it whereas the others have clear fins as are the rest of their fins. It looks like another has had it but it's cleared up. Any ideas? Are there parasites that can only affect one fin?
Thanks!
