Hello everybody,
Today I bought 8 cardinal tetra fish to add to our 110 litres jewel aquarium.
However one of the fish is acting very strange.
7 of them look healthy and are enjoying swimming together but the 8th fish is swimming in a very strange way.
It does not often swim with the other fish and is mostly hiding in plants or hanging vertically at the surface.
A movie of this behaviour can be found here:
Other than these tetra there are 3 black mollys, 3 white high fin karp (not sure on the name) and 2 marble botia.
I've observed the fish but none of them do anything to the tetras.
I've measured the pH and nitrite values but this seems ok to me?
Ph 7.0
Nitrite 0.05mg/l
Does anybody recognise this behaviour?
Should I be worried or is this something that might fix itself?
Many thanks for your assistance on this matter!
