Hey guys,

Was doing my usual evening fish inspections, found a cardinal dead in a nice dark spot

Tank stats:

PH low 7.6 High 7.4

NH3/NH4 - 0 ppm
N02 - 0 ppm
N03 - 20 ppm

Temp stable at 24.2C +/- .2C over 12 hrs
light - 6- 8 hrs per day

No meds used, No ferts, No c02
Tank fully cycled
Last water change 4 days ago 95% , lightly planted , declorinated with prime

Stock: 9 Panda Cory 12 11 Cardinals

method of acclimation - 2 hrs drip acclimation

Dead cardinal : no signs of parasitic infection, no fungus, fin rot - looks nice and bright coloured, although he was quite a smally one, probably the smallest of the shoal

remaining cardinal behavior: Normal chasing each other around , mucking about in current, shoaling all over tank

Last time feed : 1600 hrs today - flake and they help themselves to corys pellets
Feeding Ratio : twice a day small pinch flake, Tetra prima for the corys

corys are as mad as ever no signs of distress, or infections pretty much love the mucking up the sand and shoaling together.

This one has me confused!!!
