Carbon Filter,

Hi Forum,

I have read alot that a Carbon filter will remove medicines etc..
(yes I have one)

Im looking at buying this, as I'm put off from using Co2 and my Dwarf hair grass is suffering,
Will my Carbon filter Mess this up?

There really no need for Carbon in a filter unless you need to remove medicine. It absorb lots of stuff from the water much of it beneficial for plants and perhaps fish too. I don’t know if carbon removes Excel I guess it would either way ditch the carbon its not needed and is more harm than good in a planted tank.
