Carbon Filter Leaked Into Tank

 what do i do if my carbon filter for my filtration system has leaked into my tank water, do a pure water change(clean whole tank) or just try to scoop the carbon fibers out(i think thats what its called)

I would just scoop it out, and do a small wager change.

Just scoop them out.  They won't release anything into the water so there is no reason to do a extra waater change.  It is totally harmless.
 
PS:  It is not carbon fiber (a very different form of carbon).  Carbon fiber is very storong stuff but itdoesn't have the filtering capabilities. of activated carbon.
