Carbon And Plant Fertilizers

I just wanted to know if there was a way in which i could have carbon in my canister filter and also use a liquid fertilizer for my plants. Cheers

Not possible, carbon removes iron pretty quickly (check out the link in my sig ). Guess the only way would be to add it daily but I guess then the carbon would just get used up quicker.
