Can't Fight Wasting...

So over the past few months I have been struggling with fish wasting. I have a 30 gallon planted tank with a few Cherry Barbs, Zebra Danios and a pair of Red Breasted Acaras. Sadly, no one is doing particularly well...as I believe I have an internal parasite problem. I have upped my water changes (x 2, 40 percent water change) and treated several times with Parasite Clear by Jungle Labs, which no success. My fish (particularly the Acaras and Danios) seem to be losing weight, wasting. I have also seen the stringy feces that hang from their anuses. Anyone have any treatment ideas? Do I need to try a different medicine?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I don't have the required know-how to answer that question, but i think you might get a good few more topic viewing (and thus suggestions) if you post this in the Tropical Fish Emergencies section. Might have a bit more luck in there, Wilder's knowledge seems to know no limits...!
