Hello, after some some advice currently have aqua one occelaris 850 running on my 230l tank the flow rate is poor, I'm looking at running another canister filter along side it the all pond solutions 2000 efx+ looks good but some of the reviews say it leaks, have any of you got any advice or experience of the filter leaking.

Also is it advisable to sit the filters in some kind of tray as a safety net against leaks

Thanks

I have my canister filter in a plastic container which has helped me several times keeping water off the floors. This is only my second canister filter and learning has its accidents, but I am getting better at it. Still I will always place my canister filters in plastic containers, much safer that way. Mine is a Sunsun HW-3000 and I really like it, very easy to use and so far very reliable, although I have only had it a few months now.
