one you have salt water from the store or oceancan you store it in the garage, or does it have to be fresh!!!

IMO it is best to have it pre made. You would need to keep it heated and also have a air pump/power head for circulation.

 

[Landlocked]

It's better if you let it sit and settle after mixing and before adding it to your aquarium.
