This little fella just turned up at work on Wednesday. Soppy person me offered to take him home via the vets to see if he had been chipped, if no-body turned up to claim him. So home I took him, he wasn't chipped, the RSPCA didnt want to know and was told by the Vet that non of the local resuce centres were taking any more strays. He was so well behaved and I was worried what would happen to him if his owners didn't show up.

I left him at home with the other half yest while I went to work. At half 4 just as I was about to add him to the found pet register when the owners turned up. Their business is over the back of us and he had just wondered off. They were so happy to know that he was alive and well, and went to to mine to go and collect him. They left me free tickets to their attraction as a thank you. They also are going to get the dog chipped. I'm both happy and sad, happy that he is back with his rightfull owners but sad because I was becomming attached to him. It's nice that this has had a happy ending, I just wanted to share this happy tale with you all. :good:

It is a happy ending.

If you were becoming attached...you could always get yourself one :)

God was I tempted. But the other half is out of work again, just waiting for another job to start and I work full time so It wouldn't be fair on the dog. Oh yes I forgot to mention his name turned out to be Rigby.

awww he looked so sweet, your as bad as me, I am forever picking up dogs

Trust me Star4 if I had a bigger house and didn't work I'd end up A - as many tanks as you if not more  and I'd be off to the local re-homing centre to rescue a couple of dogs. Soppy lot arn't we.

Oh what a gorgeous dog, the owners must have been beside themselves with worry, lucky for them someone like you picked him up :good:

Seffie x

Thanks, Me and Mr Littlemonkey went to the attraction on Sat. The first people we saw was Rigby and his owner, was treated like royalty, the wag off Rigby's tail was enough for me though.
