could you list as many as you can and then give a couple of important details about them (lighting, co2 etc)

i will be using it in my 3g nano

3wpg
diy co2 or hagen plant system (not built/ bought yet)
nutrafin gro weekly, tetraplant substrate

EDIT: I will upgrade my lighting then, why doesn't it work for nano's?

I've been looking for carpeting plants myself and have been told about these two:

Riccia Fluitans,
Dwarf Hair Grass,

I've ordered them, but they haven't turned up yet, I know they don't grow that tall and that is it I'm afraid

3WPG in a 3g? Wow, that's really low lighting. Your going to need to upgrade that near 11W. Remember, the WPG rule doesn't work in really large or really small tanks.

It will be difficult to get a good carpeting plant to grow with even 11W in a 3g. My 2.5g has over 5WPG and it is still a low-light tank. I've had moderate success with Marsilea hirsuta, but it looked too big (my crop gets the 4 lobed leaf, not the little single-lobed leaf), so I took it out. It was growing very well, though. There are smaller varieties, but I'm to lazy to search for it. I imagine moss would work pretty well. If you plan on injecting CO2, 17W or more may get better results. There is a cute little acrylic tank I'm eyeing that has 17W over 3g. Very nice.
