The first pic, the tall red plant on the right side. I have the same one in my 10 gal and it grows well under 5wpg, only difference is it's green.

More than likely it's limnophila or cabombathat you have. Limnophila sessiflora is very common, similar to Cabomba, but MUCH easier to grow and easier to find at LFS (at least for me). Mind you, at 5WPG Cabomba should do quite well in your tank as well. Check this link for a pic of limnophila sessiflora. Scroll down a bit and there is another pic. I've got limno in my 30G with 4WPG and I have to prune it back every week, and I prune 6-8 inches off each time...

Is there any way I can be sure of what I have? I looked thru tropica.dk and I thought it was cabomba as well, but after reading your reply, I'm not too sure.

Looks like cabomba to me. Do you have a picture of your plant, by any chance?
