so went out bought a newt told me it was a rock newt but guess what the internet dont got anything on rock newts so i dont know what the hell it is and just want to learn more about it

Your pictures are a bit blurry, but I'd guess that it's a paddle-tail newt. A clear picture of the tail would help to confirm this.
