Can You Have Slate In Your

I WAS JUST WONDERING CAN YOU KEEP SLATE IN YOUR TANK THAT YOU USE FOR YOUR ROOF AND DO YOU HAVE T BOIL IT BEFORE ADDING TO THE TANK

yes you can use slate but do the vinegar test first.

well i wouldnt from a roof as they have been subject to acid rain in somecases, and there may be bitchumen traces on the slate where they have been adhered to the roof. im not entirey sure,

yeah it depends if he is saying the stuff from his roof then no, but if he is saying the stuff like i have on my roof, then its a yes but do the white vinegar test.

I have slate in all my tanks, it doesnt effect the water chemistry if thats something else you wanted to know.
