Can U Put Eastr Lillies In Your Tropical Tank?

what's an easter lilly, do you have a scientific name for it?

if it is something like an Arum Lilly that grows in the garden, then don't put it in the tank because it will die.

welcome to the forum :)
i have no idea what plant your refering to chances are if youve got it on a windowsill in a pot or in the garden no
but post a pic or discription as their can be exceptions to the rule

Peace Lily perhaps? I've seen them grown hydroponically (just the roots submerged) in betta bowls.

soups right spathyphylum (peace lillys) can be grown with their roots in water but they need their leaves to really be above the water level
its the same for the plant colin mentioned arum lilly (zantadeisha) edit spellings lol
scot :)

Various types of plants can be used via their root systems to draw all manner of unwanted elements from aquarium water, not sure about peace lillies though.
For actual aquarium lilies then go for
Nymphaea stellata
Nymphaea lotus

As stated, you can put it in the tank provided that (1) the top parts stick out of the water like in a betta vase and (2) the roots aren't contaminated with dirt or fertilizer. if you violate point 1, the plant will ultimately die. if you violate point 2, you run the risk of poisoning your fish!
