Can U Put Bamboo In A Fish Tank

If you mean live bamboo then no, it's not an aquatic plant and will eventually die releasing toxins. If you mean dead bamboo then yes.

I use a bamboo stick as my gravel and plant "prodder" thingy.

so if the leaves are out of the water its ok :)

If the leaves are out the water then they will be in your lights and therefore cause problems, they grow quickly in the correct conditions so constant pruning will be needed. The shoots in the tank may get damaged by fish and will release sap-like substance which is the plants defense mechanism to prevent infection and heal itself. These substances are toxic (same ones that are released when the plant dies) and will therefore pollute your tank, possibly killing your fish.

Not worth the risk IMO for something that looks alien in an aquarium in the first place.
