just wondered if having to much co2 does anything to your fish or something ?

basically i just redone my yeast diy co2 setup and i got alot of bubbles and was thinking maybe its gonna suffocate my fish or lower my p.h alot very quickly ?

or does it not do that ?

To much will suffocate your fish, Ive done it as have several other people. The first signs are the fish gasping at the surface. Unless you have a very small tank, its quite hard to do with yeast Co2 though.

well i've got air going into the tank still but i've got it on a gang valve now so not as much as before and i've got the co2 on gang valves 2 but can't stop it anymore cos nothing comes out lol :D

I dont think you would really need an air stone in your tank, especially during the day. The surface agitation it creates will release the CO2 from the water. Some do run an airstone at night as you can't turn off DIY CO2 at night, however i never had a problem and didnt need to do this.

How many DIY bottles are you running on your tank? I had 2 running on my 12G tank with no problems to the fish, so you really shouldnt need the airstone or the clamp on the CO2.
