cuz the fry i have well the big ones all most the size of a 50 cent coin now and i have been near shore they were brown ones but they dont seem as the other brown ones i had befor cuz there still very light i thort they would get darker maby they still will? any way in the light of the sun u can still see throo them not like when they were realy babys but like theres a cover of color you can light throo i guess its hard to tell what im talking about with out a pic and i dont have one at the moment ?the father was opaline and mother a brown i think .....will they get darker u think? i like the color they are now cuz the normal brown well it looks like a river fish not that its a bad thing one of my best gourami is a big brown female thats the one i think was the mother she seem to realy injoy breeding if there a male in the tank aloan with her only a day or day an half is needed im geting off topic here so i will get back to the point do u get realy light browns or greens?
 
Yes, you can get realy light colored ones. Just like with platinums, any of the three-spot colors can be bred to be very light in color. Of course, what you feed them, their surroundings, their stress levels - even the amount of lighting - all effect what color the fish'll be.
