Hello everyone,

Tonight I switched a 35 and a 45 gallon tank over to sand, and setup a couple 20 gallons I had stored away.

I keep mostly barbs so moving fish from tank to tank really isnt a problem. My question is regarding one of my 35 gallons, it is currently stocked with:

5 Tiger barbs
6 Male Cherry barbs (they have been together for a year and have never fought, so please do not suggest changing this)
1 RTBS
1 3.5 inch pleco, not sure about what type he is, but he has not grown in years.

Currently I am running 3 aqua clear 200's on the tank along with a spogne filter.

Can I get away with a few more fish or is this tank stocked? If anything I was thinking of getting a couple more tiger barbs or something similar... any suggestions?

You could get away with a couple more tiger barbs but I wouldn't realy add anything else.

I am asking because I am trying to free up a few tanks for my fry, I plan on stocking my 35 and 45 gal to there limits, but not overstock. I am not new to fish keeping, but I have never really overstocked a tank or had it near its limits for that matter, and I know I am getting close with this one.

Thanks for the reply.
