I have some fry that are around 3 months old and I was wondering as they get older and are in the same tank... can they mate together?

Yep, they can...and usually they don't hesitate to either! You might want to seperate them though, when you can tell if they are male or female, to prevent inbreeding problems...

Of course they can! And do! Now, whether they SHOULD or not is another question. Inbreeding itself isn't inherently bad...it's all the lethal (or dangerous, non-lethal) recessives that are bad.

I'd recommend separating the sexes if you can.

You could but you should only encourage it if looking for a desired trait eg good female finnage, a colouring type, larger size etc.

PS if I had the money/time I would consider trying to develop and breed miniture/dwarf/runt Angels, I small angels are it's so cute
