Can Plants Regen After Being Eaten By Pleco?

Hi,
My pleco seems to like my plants, the next morning, i see almost all my amazon leaves full of little wholes. I then moved the pleco to another tank. My question is, can the worn leave regrow?

The worn leaves probably wont recover, but the plant will soon produce new leaves to replace the old ones

Mine too. I had set up a really nice scape and my seven plecos are munching most of it.

Seem to leave the Vallis, Crypts and Onion plants alone.

Are there any other plants that they may leave alone?
