Can Over Tank Luminaires Be Adjusted?

i have a 23.5" tank and i seen a 24" arcadia luminaire would this adjust that half inch? How much do they adjust by aswell as i might be getting one for my 40g.

The legs on luminary's tend to be on runners so you could put a 24" over a 12" tank if you wanted to

So so true, the 24 luminaires can even go up to 26 inches.
