Can One Female Betta Be Kept With

2 guppys, 8 platys and two snails?

would a lone female betta be happier in the 29 gallon with the rest of the fish, or in an extra 1.5 gallon I have.


just asking cause I saw the most adorable girl while out today, dark purple body with red fins...and a ct as well.

she should be ok with them but sometimes they get a big niggly and might have a go at the guppies. But try her and see how she goes. If she is fine then leave her in there. If she causes problems then you can move her into the smaller container.

For those of us who don't have mobile phones and don't use text messages, is there any chance in future we can use proper words and not abbreviated ones. It just makes it easier to know what is being said

She might be ok in the 29 gallon. As Colin said, you'll just have to keep an eye on things for a while. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

well I actualy didnt even buy the girl...I wanted to figure out what would happen before I got her.

besides the fact that every cute ct girl I have found lately has been at walmart...how odd is that? and being that if I would get her she would be a walmart fish she would so be getting quarentiened before she goes in the big tank.


well everything gets quarentiened anyways...but walmart fish if I drag one home for a good bit longer

sorry colin, newfishey is my sister and we were going back and forth talkin about our new fish, i have bettas now she wants them too, and i think she is going to steal one when my 4 halfmoons get shiped out and she goes and picks them up for me, and yea i usually do type that bad
