Can My Topics Title And Description Be Changed?

When replying to my own topics can I change the title and description? If so I'd be grateful if someone could explain how to do this.

I'm sure I've seen topic titles and descriptions change.

Edit your first post, you can vhange title etc in there. Make sense i hope
